Ayah Faqhi, MS, CF-SLP earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language pathology from the University of Washington. Throughout her academic career, Ayah gained experience working with clients across the lifespan with a large variety of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency disorders, phonological and articulation disorders, pragmatic disorders, and AAC. She ultimately found her passion in pediatrics and completed her graduate school internships in the schools at the primary and secondary levels. Additionally, she was able to work alongside the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population, providing both speech and language therapy through the use of American Sign Language. In addition to ASL, Ayah is a native Arabic speaker and enjoys working with bilingual families when needed. She is passionate about providing her clients and their families with all the support and care to achieve their specific and unique communication goals. In her spare time, Ayah enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, watching movies, and going to concerts.
