Ellen Overby, MOT, OTR/L, earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida. She is originally from Virginia where her love for OT began after seeing her brother, who was born very prematurely, receive a variety of life changing services which led to his independence and success today. She now works as an OT to offer a similar helping hand to children and their families. She’s dedicated to helping her clients reach their goals through collaboration, creativity, and a whole lot of fun! Ellen has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient pediatrics and school systems. She also has experience as a swim instructor with training in aquatic therapy and adaptive swimming. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with loved ones, baking sourdough bread, and competing in triathlons. She is very excited to be a part of the Kids in Motion family!
