Maryna Uzhyk, MS, OTR/L, CNS, SWC earned her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from West Coast University in Los Angeles, California. She has always had a passion for working with children. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, she worked as a teacher in elementary, middle, and high schools. Maryna has experience working as an occupational therapist with children of various ages in the inpatient subacute and outpatient clinic settings. To enhance her expertise in neurological rehabilitation, she earned her certification as a Neuro Specialist (CNS). She obtained advanced practice certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, or Intervention (SWC) from the California Board of Occupational Therapy, enabling her to provide efficient feeding therapy to children at high risk for aspiration and with other feeding difficulties. Dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential when engaging in meaningful daily activities, Maryna strives to enhance their quality of life through her practice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, dancing, traveling, and exploring new foods with her loved ones.
