Therese Rios, M.S. earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Her love for working in pediatrics began when she became a babysitter for a child with a developmental delay. This was the first time Therese was introduced to occupational therapy and she immediately grew to appreciate the profession’s balance of art, science, creativity, and compassion. She loves serving children and their families by helping them master daily skills, equipping them with accessible tools and resources, and empowering them to live fulfilling and joyful lives. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an early intervention assistant, a teaching assistant at an infant and toddler center, a behavioral therapist, and a barista! In her free time, Therese loves exploring coffee shops, reading, and enjoying yummy food with her loved ones.
